Collection: The ‘SUKOMO’ collection was all about SS 16’s popular and wearable trend, denim. From laser cut treatments to plaid, childish motifs and urban unique styles of draping saris, Shaik’s line is ideal for the fun, carefree woman.

Collection: This chic collection ‘To the stars and back’ was inspired by you guess it - the stars. The minimal graphic silhouettes with a break of vivid colours in the form of patchwork makes the outfits strikingly gorgeous!

Who: Aqdus Saleem
Collection: Saleem’s take on Islamic culture with a contemporary twist is fantastic! Inspired by the Middle East sans the abayas, ’The Modest Collection’ consists of dresses, jumpsuits, skirts and turbans that are highlighted by layers in hues of white and beige.

Who: Chirag Nainani
Collection: Inspired by forgotten memories, Nainani’s collection ’Fossilized Subconscious’ showcased Indigo and white coloured saris teamed with peplum blouses, asymmetrical high-low flared dresses and tuxedo jackets paired with skirts and flowy silhouettes. Underlying fabrics used were handlooms that incorporated dyeing techniques.

Who: Sohaya Misra
Collection: The fuss-free cotton and textured fabric based collection incorporated a variety of separates - something that was a key element in Misra’s design process as they can be styled differently each time. The light coloured loose and easy silhouettes appeal to women of all ages.
