This Hairstylist Will Show You How To Embrace Your Big, Curly Hair

Anushka Mulchandani

It’s time to throw out that straightening iron!

One of my favourite Instagram stars has got to be Sarah Angius. She’s not one of those style bloggers. She excels in her hairstyles. A practising hairstylist, Sarah doesn’t have that natural smooth texture you’re expecting right now. Her hair is actually hella’ curly and the styles she pulls off, both straight and curly, are almost too good to be true.

Of course, she does blow dry and iron her hair straight quite often. Like us, she even plays around with her colour and most recently she made the cut and got herself a fringe.

But what really blows my mind is how she gets her curls to look on fleek. Watch and learn –

Now once you’ve finally accomplished this voluminous goodness, Sarah even has a bunch of hairstyles on her channel for this kind of hair texture.

On days when it’s too hot to leave your curls down, an updo like this one is not only simple to achieve, it also looks like you’ve spent hours doing your hair when in reality it only takes about 5 odd minutes.

This is definitely one you can try when you’re headed out at night. Somehow those twists add quite the badass vibe to your look and if you’re not comfortable doing it right on top, you could even have them on one side.

A faux-bob isn’t something you think of trying with curly hair. But when you see this tutorial, it’s hard not to give it a shot. Especially once you realise how easy it is to carry out.

The best part about curly hair is that it never looks greasy. The curls might get a bit limp and on those days, you could always try this updo.

And finally, if you don’t have her curls, but want them anyway, Sarah even has a tutorial that shows you how to get them. So this way, everybody wins!
