We’re just halfway through January and things are already looking up for beauty buffs this year with the online launches of Bobbi Brown, Clinique and MAC – and now with affordable new beauty brand IsaDora.

Granted, the Swedish brand may not have been on our radar earlier, but their range is pretty impressive, featuring everything from mineral makeup to matte lipsticks and cushion foundations – it’s also a dream for sensitive skin.

I decided to experiment with a select few products and I’ve gotta say, I’m super pleased with the results. Here are some of my favourites!

Insane Volume Lash Styler Mascara

I’m not exaggerating when I say this is a perfectly named mascara. My lashes have never looked longer or had such insane volume. The formula is smooth and non-clumpy, but it’s brush that’s the real winner. The bristles separate the lashes and apply the product evenly, making your lashes look super long and super natural.

Wonder Nail Polish in Dolce Vita

In all honesty, my life isn’t really suited to having my nails done, but I decided to try the Wonder Nail Polish for a special occasion as a one-off thing. The bright pink formula dried really quickly, and the wide brush applicator is great. It applies quickly (in one stroke to be precise) and leaves no streaks during application. So if you're looking for a quick dry, no hassle nail paint, you can bet on this.

Twist Up Matt Lipstick In Ruby Gem

As a lipstick lover, this was the first product I reached for and was I pleasantly surprised! Move over Kylie, because this lipstick is the perfect velvety matte with no dryness. Also, it also glides on the lips seamlessly and when it lasted through my morning muffin and evening cappuccino-I was sold!

Perfect Contour Kajal in Icy Blue

This was another product I couldn’t stop reaching for. While the colour didn’t exactly go with every outfit or look, the extra soft texture and the pigment kept me coming back. To be honest, I had no idea how to use the product as a contour pencil (don’t we contour enough things already?) so I used it just as a liner and was super pleased with how long it lasted without smudging.
